It must start with a mental shift from > hunting customers > to farming customers > to just being a customer.
WWWW – What Would We Want? We all want thoughtfulness from others and abundance in our lives, but somehow this doesn’t ring true as a sound business process; or does it?
A great businessman, Chuck Blakeman demonstrates how by feeling and acting on very simple daily thoughts; one can simply live well by doing good. And I don’t think it matters whether “one” is defined as an individual or as a company.
To accomplish this is more difficult than just repeating words like a parrot, but it is definitely part of a process, most just don't recognize it as a business process. We have to be reminded of the fundamentals. We won’t act on something if we don’t unconsciously feel it in our heart; which in turn means we believe it in our minds which translates to naturally acting out on it in our lives – everyday, over and over and over again.
Repeat these words from James Allen Lane until you can feel them in your heart – and the rest will appear as if by magic. Let these words disappear from your heart and I’d venture to guess they will be a distant memory in your mind as well.
As you think, you travel, just as you love, you attract. You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you. Into your hands will be placed the results of your thoughts be they base or beautiful.
You cannot escape the results of your thoughts. Whatever your present condition may be, you will fall, remain or rise with your thoughts, your vision, your idea. You will become as small as your controlling desire; as great as your dominant aspiration.
A special thanks to my mom for giving me this quote on a wall plaque when I graduated high school. It still hangs on the wall above my desk as a reminder to be thoughtful and abundant.
